CodeBlue

Delete your CodeBlue account

You can delete your CodeBlue account at any time, and you do not need our permission or assistance to do it. This page explains how, and exactly what happens to your information afterwards.

Option 1 — Delete it yourself, in the app

This is immediate and needs nobody's approval.

  1. Open the CodeBlue app and sign in.
  2. Tap the menu icon in the top corner of the screen.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the menu and tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm when asked. Your account is deleted straight away.

The app warns you first that this permanently deletes your account and personal information and cannot be undone. That warning is accurate — there is no recovery period and no way for us to restore the account afterwards.

Option 2 — Ask us to delete it

If you can no longer sign in, email us from the address or phone number on the account and ask for it to be deleted:

dr_t_shaalan@yahoo.com

We will confirm your identity, delete the account, and reply to confirm — within 30 days of your request, and usually much sooner.

What is deleted

Everything that identifies you is destroyed:

What is kept, and why

Two things survive, and neither identifies you afterwards.

Records of visits that actually took place. A visit is a record of two people. Erasing it would also erase the other person's history of a visit they genuinely attended.

Invoices and payments that were issued. These are accounting records and we are required to keep them.

In both, your name is replaced with “Deleted user” and your phone number with an internal reference. Nothing in them can be traced back to you.

If you are a provider with unpaid dues, deletion is refused until the outstanding invoices are settled. You will see how much is owed in the app. This applies only to providers who have been invoiced — patients are never affected.

Deleting the app is not the same thing

Removing CodeBlue from your phone does not delete your account. Use one of the two options above.
